Reuel “rEu ” Ravanera is a Manila-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist known for his soulful voice, heartfelt performances, and genre-blending musical style.

Born on September 25, 2000, in Sta. Cruz, Marinduque, REU began his musical journey at 11 years old, when his mother encouraged him to pick up the guitar and play in church. What started as a humble beginning soon flourished into a deep passion that continues to shape his life.

REU's musical growth continued through high school, where he became a regular performer at school events, gradually honing both his voice and stage presence. His talent spans a wide range of instruments, including guitar, bass, ukulele, banduria (rondalla), and beatboxing—each adding unique layers to his sound and creativity.

He graduated in English Language (Linguistics) at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, REU’s college years have been equally rich with music.

He is an active member of the Harana String Company, and during the pandemic, he found a unique way to connect with people by joining Hook PH to perform surprise "harana" serenades—keeping the magic of live music alive even in uncertain times.

As an artist, REU draws inspiration from Soul, R&B, OPM, and the vibrant world of P-Pop, constantly evolving his sound while staying true to his emotional roots. In 2023, he released his debut single “City Lights” under IMD Entertainment, marking a significant milestone in his recording career. Since then, he has immersed himself in the local music scene—busking, joining open mic events, and performing regularly at Sunset Sessions every weekend.

REU’s goal is simple yet powerful: to create music that resonates, heals, and connects. Whether he's performing on a big stage or a quiet street corner, his music is always honest, emotional, and full of soul.
